As an Assistant Manager at the Party Factory you will ensure exceptional customer service throughout the store.
You will be responsible for the day to day operations, including a professional work environment, and completing paperwork.
Position Requirements
* Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years of management experience including supervising 4 or more employees at a time
* Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, College is preferred
* Ability to read and comprehend business information
* Ability to do mental arithmetic and multiplication of single digits
* Ability to write a business letter
* Must be 21 with a Current Driver’s License and a good driving record
* Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, 5 days a week including (Friday, Saturday, and holidays, but not on Sunday (We are Closed), full-time schedule will include 9 hour shifts between 8 am to midnight
* Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
(and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.
) from floor level to over head; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Greet (by phone or in person) and assists customers in a positive, welcoming manner.
* Answers questions that customers might have about our store and products.
* Direct and follow up with employees in keeping a clean, well-stocked store.
* Works with crew in distributing and organizing merchandise throughout the store.
* Works with crew to give high quality face-to-face customer service in the store.
* Work with Management team in recruiting, selecting, and orienting team members.
* Train and educate crew on their responsibilities.
* Works with Management team in coaching, counseling, appraising, and disciplining crew.
* Works with Management team in preventing inventory losses.
* Works with Management team to control cash losses.
* Works with Computer systems to help manage store.
* Assists with ordering, receiving, and counting merchandise.
* Ability to do opening and closing paperwork efficiently.
* Ability to do a Stockers or Cashiers duties when needed.
* Assume many of the General Managers responsibilities when they are not in the store.
* Adhere to the Party Factory policies and procedures and enforce those policies with crew.
