Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team.
As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and government regulations.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering professional development
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software CDK
- Experience with payroll processing and related tax filings
- Familiarity with corporate accounting requirements and reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
