biz Position Description We’re looking for a full-time, staff Accounts Payable Analyst to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, Iowa.
The Accounts Payable Analyst is required to have accounts payable experience and proficient software skills.
Analyst 2 for an Accounts Payable department that provides support to various different business and staff units operating in the United States, Canada and an ever expanding global presence.
This position is responsible for several, or all of the following tasks; processing invoices for vendor payments, travel expense report processing, request vendor setups/ changes, handling requests through BetterNet, processing service entries and administraton of company card programs.
As an Analyst 2, this position has a higher interaction with our various business and staff units to to assist them in processes, procedures, discrepancies and resolutions.
As the Accounts Payable Analyst, here’s the work you’ll do: Reviews all invoices/payment request/wires for accuracy such as correct coding, approval and purchase order verification (service entries/good receipt) to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
Audit expense reports against Corp.
policy and IRS compliance.
Process service entries.
Transactional support for the duties identified above.
Research of problem invoices that cannot be paid for various reasons and work with various business units to resolve those discrepancies in a timely matter.
Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
Administration of all company card programs which include: P-card, travel card and Business Travel Accounts.
Maintains cardholder and card account data.
Provides customer service to existing users.
Conducts monthly upload of transactional data into ERP system to enable payments for P-cards.
Monitors and Audits P-card cardholder compliance with the PCard Policy Coordinate with business and staff unit employees and build mutually beneficial relationships.
Work together with them to identify areas for process and procedural improvements and work through issues.
Research and resolve BetterNet requests Comply with and administer Data Privacy policies, principles and procedures.
Maintains customer and employee confidence and protects operations by ensuring the minimal, secure, approved, responsible, and confidential handling of data, as well as breach notification.
This role is for you if you have these skills: Experience with Accounts Payable processes and procedures; familiar with IRS T&E guidelines Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service attitude and acumen Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent organizational skills And if you have these qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management or relevant experience 2 - 4 in accounts payable or related field In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $51,440 - $77,160.
