Med Aide/CNA

Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Take vital signs and record patient information accurately - Assist with mobility and transfers of patients - Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing - Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic and Cerner to document patient care activities - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of {location} - Experience working in a medical office or acute care setting is preferred - Knowledge of electronic medical record systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus - Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to work with patients with special needs Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
