Essential Functions:
2 Participates in patient/family/staff education.
3 Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities.
4 Maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.
Secondary Functions: Upon completion of education requirements
1 All other duties required by Management.
2 Shift Charge Nurse when assigned.
3 Makes patient care assignments based on skill, experience and acuity of patient.
4 Directs and precepts staff as needed / assigned.
5 Participates in Quality Process Improvements in department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Skills: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current BLS required
o NIHSS within 3 months - All Areas
o ACLS within 3 months- All Areas (Except NICU/Nursery/OBGYN)
o COAP within 3 months - All Areas
o ENPC within 3 Months - ED
o TNCC within 3 months - ED
