Cornerstone Retirement is currently seeking a staffing coordinator to join our elite team!
Responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for nursing personnel and scheduling of nursing staff.
Find suitable replacement of staff when vacancies exist in schedule.
Document staff call-ins for attendance tracking and report to supervisor for training or corrective action.
Manage the schedule within budgeting parameters according to census.
Assists with in-service scheduling and tracking.
Manage supply inventory and ordering medical supplies.
Management of medical records to maintain regulatory compliance.
Must be willing to work after hours and in the nursing department to assist staff when needed.
CNA/CMA required.
Active LVN/LPN License preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with medical records which preferably includes supervisor responsibility and 1 year of scheduling experience are required.
2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or long term care, is highly preferred.
Considerable knowledge of computer use, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs, and ability to learn relevant facility software.
Must have working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
Must have a demonstrated concern for older people and an ability to work with them.
