Job Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Analyst, in our Camden, AR facility, to perform work under general direction and be responsible for controlling the movement of materials, records and parts needed for various programs in which we are engaged.
This position maintains accurate transportation, inventory and schedule of records, and resolves potential delays which may impact end item delivery.
The selected individual will maintain transportation and warehouse material records involved with ensuring an acceptable level of physical inventory, and facilitate on time delivery necessary to support various programs.
Will also prepare recommendations for changes to transportation and warehouse management plans in response to changing processes, and supply documentation to support numerous internal and external audits.
This is a Weekend Shift position.
Fri, Sat, Sunday (36 hours) 6AM to 6PM
Essential Functions
20% - Provides solutions to problems involving unusual complexity.
20% - Conceives and plans projects involving the development of new approaches and methods to attain objectives.
10% - Provides input to department objectives and long-range goals.
10% - Keeps current within the area of specialty in support of transportation and warehouse management projects.
20% - Develops metrics to track department performance.
10% - May lead the analysis of records management.
10% - Evaluates existing capabilities and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
0 - 2 years of experience in a directly related field
