Summary : Responsible for the planning, set-up, and scheduling of all payroll related activities at the project site.
Duties include supervising the preparation of all payroll documents, following timekeeping methods in accordance with company administrative and personnel policies and procedures, supervising the maintenance of all payroll records, supervising the maintenance of active and inactive payroll and personnel files, and making recommendations in regard to hiring, terminations, salary adjustments, and training of timekeeping personnel.
Typically supervises three or more timekeepers and the preparation of required reports.
Requires a minimum of 3 years timekeeping experience, computer experience, and up-to-date knowledge of benefit plans, IRS requirements/regulations, and EEO policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Computes total time worked by employees - Enter payroll into computer - Delivers paycheck to employee - May interview employees to discuss hours worked and pay adjustments.
- Basic record keeping and other procedures for concentrating on details - Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
Performs other duties as required.

Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
