SUMMARY
THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION.
This position requires an individual with working knowledge of an aggregate-producing facility.
It consists of but is not limited to field engineering, welding, fabrication, general repairs, and self-service of all plant equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The criteria for evaluation in this position include but are not limited to the following:
Ability to exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment
Be familiar with and incorporate information derived from the manuals for the individual equipment being serviced
Must be familiar with and follow all MSHA safety practices and procedures
Conduct pre and post-shift plant and equipment inspections
Work without direct supervision in a self-motivated manner
Operate light equipment such as skid steers and water trucks
Work from elevated positions using fall protection PPE
Be aware of the overall operational health of the plant and plan for necessary repairs, maintenance, and upkeep
Utilize tools, torches, and welding equipment
Demonstrate problem-solving and field engineering
Ability to follow directions
Perform additional job duties as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.
Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when necessary
Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures, as well as all company policies
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
Must possess a valid driver's license

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
