Base Pay: $38,000 to $45,000 annually, based on experience

The Payroll Processor will ensure that all timecard related transactions are clearly vetted in preparation for the time file to be submitted to Global Business Services (GBS) for payroll processing.
The payroll processor is responsible to print/review timecard reports, and partner with plant managers to understand/accurately reflect time.
This includes adding paid time-off, correcting missed time punches, partnering with Human Resources (HR) to ensure that held timecards are properly addressed to prevent duplicate payment.
This ensures that short-term disability, and other leave of absence (LOA) related to pay is accurately processed.
Responsible for ensuring that all monthly/weekly incentive pay is accurately, and appropriately included in the payroll file to be submitted to GBS for processing.
Able to accurately process a high-volume of transactions.
Review processed payroll files to identify any pay group processing.
FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) compliance issues.
Proactively correcting said issues as to not impact the associate's paycheck.
Capable of managing/balancing multiple priorities and completing projects in a timely manner to meet aggressive deadlines.
Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere.
Dependable job attendance is expected.
Shift Information: Monday-Friday, 8-hr shift
Overtime possible as schedule is work until completion.
Saturday overtime possible with advance notice
Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant
The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.
Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to.
This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age.
1-3+ years of experience working with timekeeping systems.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with general HR processes, policies, and laws
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power point)
Associate degree
