Job Details:
SUMMARY: Responsibilities will vary from performing one procedure or work instruction to a number of analytical microbiological or quality system procedures or work instructions in a Food Safety Laboratory.
Precision and accuracy in performance of the work instructions and data collection is essential; must be able to maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.
Initial proficiency testing must be passing and competency will be verified at least annually thereafter.
Team member will be required to demonstrate proficiency and growth after training; other duties as assigned.

REQUIRMENTS: Education: A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer college level courses or degree in Biology Microbiology Chemistry Food Science and or Physical Sciences.
Experience: Prefer laboratory experience.
Computer Skills: General knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office Applications.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Stand and or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break.
Physically able to stand bend stoop kneel reach twist lift push pull climb balance crouch handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
