Flight Nurse | Fixed Wing & Rotor
As Flight Nurse on LifeNet Air, you'll have the opportunity to fly as part of our fixed wing or rotor programs responsible for providing high quality advanced life support care, including assessment, triage, and treatment for critical patients.
You'll also enjoy participating in outreach marketing and education activities.
To thrive in this role, you must have a minimum of three years (rotor) or two years (fixed wing) critical care experience.
Our Company
LifeNet Air is the oldest operating air medical program in the State of Arkansas.
Operated in partnership with Air Methods, our flight nurses are assigned to fixed wing or rotor positions within our Speciality Care Transport Team.
Our flight nurses enjoy flying on Bell 407 Helicopters, PC-12s or King Air aircrafts.
Our medical directors are available to assist you when needed, and our QI department regularly hosts free CE classes to ensure you not only meet your recertification hours but also keep at the top of your game as a flight nurse.

Minimum Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, you must be an RN with two (fixed wing) or three (rotor) years of critical care experience in an ER or ICU environment.
Minimum requirements to apply for this position include:
Current state license as a Registered Nurse in Texas, Arkansas or other compact state
Current EMT and /or Paramedic certification in both Texas and Arkansas (Paramedic preferred) or willingness to complete RN to EMT Bridge certification course before the end of your orientation period
Minimum three years critical care experience as a Registered Nurse
Current state driver's license with acceptable driving record
Negative DOT drug screen
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC/ ITLS/ PHTLS, PALS/ PEPP/ ENPC certifications required
NIMS Training ICS 100, 200, and 700 within 90 days of employment offer
Must gain CFRN certification 1yr from time of signing job description
Maintain a weight of less than 240lbs while in full flight gear
Effective oral and written communications skills
Functional movement to include heavy lifting of patients and equipment within highly stressed environments
